Thompson Park Pavilion
Thompson Park is a great destination for sports enthusiasts. There are 65 acres offering tennis and basketball courts, walking trails, a playground, and full-size athletic fields. 

The pavilion at Thompson Park has six large picnic tables, seating for 36 adults or 48 children.  The pavilion will seat up to approximately 60 people, with the addition of your own table and chairs.  It is located a short walk from the playground and restrooms.  The rental rate to reserve the pavilion at Thompson Park is $40/4-hours for residents* and $80/4-hours for non-residents.

Wexner Pavilion and Davis Commons
Wexner Community Park features a charming pavilion with a fireplace, serving kitchen, restrooms, and adjacent multi-age playground.  This 2.5 acre park is a lovely venue for family gatherings as well as civic and community events.  The park grounds include the Davis Commons formal lawn and the Karr Family Pergola.

The pavilion offers 6 large picnic tables which will seat up tp 36 adults or 48 children. The pavilion will seat approximately 60 people, with the addition of your own table and chairs.  Restrooms and a serving kitchen are located within the pavilion.  A fireplace is available for guests to provide their own firewood.

The rental rate to reserve the pavilion and grounds at Wexner Community Park is $90/4-hours for residents* and $120/4-hours for non-residents.  A $40 cleaning deposit is required.  This is paid by separate check and will be returned if the facility is left in good condition.

*A resident is defined as residing within the New Albany-Plain Local School District.

Refunds/Cancellations
Events canceled due to inclement weather may be rescheduled at the NA Parks office for no additional fee and subject to availability.  Fees will not be refunded if event is canceled less than 2 weeks prior to scheduled reservation.  Fees will not be refunded if event is canceled due to inclement weather and cannot be rescheduled.

 

Rules
New Albany Parks & Recreation reserves the right to deny use of district parks and facilities to groups who fail to comply with the rules and regulations set forth below.  It is understood that the group/organization using the above park/facility will comply with the laws of the State of Ohio and  Village of New Albany, and all rules and regulations set forth by New Albany Parks & Recreation.  Specifically, the responsible party:

      1. Will be responsible for all persons in the group using park facilities.

      2. Will assume liability for any damage done to the park facilities during the event.
      3. Will park only in designated areas.
      4. Will not bring any dogs or pets to the parks.
      5. Will observe all posted rules by athletic fields.
      6. Will observe the rules and regulations established for the conduct of the parks etablished by the parks and recreation Board of Trustees.
      7. Will enter a facility on the reserved day no sooner than 8:00am and leave the premises no later than dark, unless approved by the Director.
      8. Will put litter associated with your event in containers provided.
      9. Will not serve or consume beer and/or alcoholic beverages in any New Albany Parks park or facilities.


Consumption of beer and/or alcoholic beverages is prohibited in all Joint Park District facilities.

No selling or solicitation of goods or services without written approval from the Director.


Any groups that abuse a facility or violate rules and regulations will not be issued any future permits, and charges for damage and cleaning will be assessed.
