The basics of youth rugby
New Albany Rugby
New Albany Parks and Recreation is proud to offer youth rugby programs through TryRugby! The purpose of the youth rugby programs is to teach the basics of the sport in a fun and sociable setting. All divisions are co-ed. The K-1 and 2-5 divisions will be non-contact and played with flags, similar to flag football. The middle school division will include some contact, but also use “dummies” for some of the contact drills. These programs are instructional in nature and meet once per week. There is no game schedule.
