The basics of soccer grades 6-8
Who Is Eligible
The middle school recreational soccer league is open to children in grades 6-8. The MS grades 6-8 program is sponsored by NAYSL thru the JPD. This program is NOT a New Albany Middle School sponsored sport. All players play in the New Albany Youth Soccer League.
How to Register
Online Registration is open June 1 – July 26, 2010. After July 26, all inquiries will be waitlisted and charged a late fee of $25. The registration fee is $70, plus $48 jersey fee. All participants will need to purchase a uniform set for this division. One home and one away jersey as well as black shorts. They do not wear the gold/maroon reversible jersey in this division. Families who register three or more children will only be charged for the two oldest children. Add $50 per child if residence is not in the New Albany-Plain Local School District.

Home soccer practices and games take place at Bevelhymer Park Orange zone fields 6, 7. Please see the Bevelhymer Park web page for field layouts.

Middle School Summer Informal/Pick-Up Practices
- All informal practices will be held at Bevelhymer Park (off of Peter Hoover Road)
- informal practices will begin Thursday - July 9 and will be on every Thursday and Saturday up until August 8.
- Thursdays 7:00pm-8:30pm
- Saturdays 9:00am-10:30am
- Girl’s informal practices will begin Saturday - July 11 and will be on every Tuesday and Saturday up until August 8.
- Tuesdays 6:00pm-7:30pm
- Saturdays 9:30am-11:00am
