Position Title: Seasonal Maintenance Part Time
Applications accepted: Until position is filled
Start date: March 19th through October 31st.
Summary: Perform a variety of maintenance and cleaning tasks pertaining to athletic fields/facilities. Essential duties and responsibilities of this position are preparing baseball fields, painting soccer, lacrosse, and football fields, disposing of trash. Assist with other projects.
Worker Characteristics: Should be flexible and able to work with changing priorities, follow a nontraditional work schedule, including nights and weekends. Work may require heavy physical exertion. Ability to lift 50lbs or more. Possess an appreciation and support for parks and recreation activities/programs.
Qualifications: Must be 16 years of age and possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License. Some knowledge of various outdoor sports, general maintenance is desirable. Ability to learn and operate various power tools, tractors and trucks.
